Delicate vs. Strong

A tree that is indoors, always catered, taken care of, etc... is delicate. Fragile. Its wood is tender and weak. Now a tree that stands in storms, outside, through harsh weather, now that tree is strong. Firm. It's wood is very hard and durable.
