Guy Finley - Fearless Living

When we feel fear, it is our mind instantly projecting an event's meaning onto our past or future to produce fear. This fear produces the feeling, and then offers and projects the image of the way out of the situation. This is not a friend talking! What the mind is feeling is not the event, but what we brought with us into this moment, that now needs to be seen as a limitation. Fear is negative imagination. The power over it belongs to ME, not the event! This darkness that is talking to us is not able to show us the light. It searches only for new powers, skills, protections, and ways around the event.
THE FEEL IS REAL, THE WHY IS A LIE.
Stop, Drop, & Endure.
Stop: The moment you feel fear, come to a complete stop.
Drop: Do not identify, drop associated thoughts and feelings.
Endure: This moment, and the external event, is part of the whole that is you.
